The International Street Festival
The highlight of every year in Flingern: a festival from the district for the district — on three streets and the spaces in between, with a stage programme, around 240 flea-market stalls and stands from associations, organisations and church congregations.

We cancelled the festival originally planned for 30 May 2026 because the situation with the building works was uncertain. The new date is fixed: Saturday, 29 May 2027.

Why 2026 was cancelled
We had no binding assurances about when the building works around Flurstraße, Bruchstraße and Schwelmer Straße would be finished. A festival of this size requires advance commitments that we could not justify without a reliable basis — a short-notice cancellation in the spring would have hit everyone involved harder.
It was not an easy decision. Thank you to everyone who has stayed loyal to us.
